You will no doubt be aware that, since 25 May 2018, we have been deemed to have included the personal data of policyholders, insured parties, third parties, etc. to be processed in a correct manner in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

MS Amlin worked hard for months to achieve this in time for AVG to enter into force. Although private individuals are not part of MS Amlin's core business, the amount of personal data that is processed on a daily basis cannot be underestimated.

• The MS Amlin Data Privacy Notice (DPN) informs brokers, customers and third parties about how MS Amlin handles personal data. This DPN can be found on our website,
• In our general terms and conditions and policies, a specific paragraph is added that refers to the obligations in GDPR.
• A clause has been included in the disclaimer of our email referring to the DPN and the contact details of our Data Protection Officer (DPO).
• Several standard documents have been adapted, e.g. the information forms for the collection of medical data, etc.
