AXA Belgium fulfils the conditions of the GDPR. The private life clauses have been amended and will appear on all documents and on the axa.be site. Read here how you can find out more about the way in which AXA handles your personal data.
As you may know, the European regulation on the protection of personal data (GDPR) will enter into force on 25 May.
In this respect, we would like to inform you about the next steps in the communication for the group insurance contracts/collective disability and hospitalisation insurances.
In order to comply with the new standards, we are currently updating the general terms and conditions, the texts of the quotations for our products and the various management documents and our procedures (e.g. for the communication of personal data).
At the beginning of June, all customers will receive a letter concerning the obligation to inform the members that personal data will be communicated to the company for processing in the context of the implementation of the pension scheme or insurance agreement.
In addition, we will have a new AXA ("Data Processing Agreement") to respond to the requests of some customers who wish to sign a contract and an information note setting out the various actions that AXA has taken in the context of the implementation of the GDPR.
