Group Casier, in collaboration with the professional association VMx, has developed a solution for all members - environmental professionals.

Vlarem II stipulates that the external environmental coordinator must have liability insurance, including professional liability.
In addition, the new Peeters-Ducarme legislation (effective from 01/07/2019) applies and sets minimum insured amounts.

We have arranged an extremely attractive insurance solution for all VMx members, offering the best conditions and significantly low rates.

You must at least comply with the requirements of the new Peeters-Ducarme law, which specifies the following minimum insured amounts per claim:

• €1,500,000.00 for bodily injury
• €500,000.00 for material and immaterial damage
• €10,000.00 for entrusted goods

You may already comply with the law, but you might need to increase your insured amounts.

You can choose between two options:

• Insurance in compliance with the law: €1,500,000.00
• Insurance with increased coverage: €2,500,000.00 (combined)

Given the small premium difference, we recommend choosing the option with increased coverage.

Additionally, the new insurance program offers several benefits and possible extensions:

• Operational liability automatically included in the coverage (previously, a separate policy was required at an annual premium of approx. €100)
• Environmental and spatial advice for all non-decree assignments, assignments by non-certified environmental coordinators, and advice given to companies not required to appoint an environmental coordinator can be insured with an additional premium of 25%
• Preventive advice can be insured with an additional premium of 10%
• Legal assistance Euromex: annual premium €18.69 (highly recommended!!)
• Plurality discount: 5% per additional environmental specialist
• 30% discount for internal environmental coordinators
